*SPOILERS* Act 5 and BIG decision, more info would be nice.
I reloaded for the first time, playing on normal with no enemy crits in an iron man run. All was fine until I reached that point where I had to make a choice about Legend, Golden Dragon or Azata, the most important thing was to keep Aivu.

The problem is that I wasn´t really aware of the consequences and assumed Legend would mean losing everything, didn´t think that the Golden Dragon would make me lose Aivu though. Had to reload in a bitter and a sad moment, I wish some more information was given prior to choosing. I could shapeshift and I would have a next of kin to have fun with, two dragons enter a tavern ....

Lost all Azata abilities as well which didn´t really amuse me, I thought you kept what you had gained thus far.

This has been mentioned a lot of times and I still dont understand why people ever believed that you could keep Aivu if you drop the Azata path. Not only is it explained story wise that she is linked to your Azata powers , it would also make no sense gameplay wise.

Same goes for Azata abilities or any path for that matter. How could you keep your angel abilities if you went Swarm that Walks for example ? or the lich/demon ones as a Gold Dragon.

Hidden combined paths would be kind of badass - Dracolich!

Don’t listen to the goddess, because as our lady in shadow says, she basically is angry about your power only because it is not from the heavenly flame but abyssal profane hands…duh

This is why you decide what path you are going to take before you begin playing the game for that run: then stick with it, if there is an ethical decision you don't like don't make it. as far as I am concerned I think the way the paths are handled with you only being able to pick one and if you change over you don't keep your companions is infuriating for example if your character is basically in backstory this powerful necromancer but doesn't want to become a lich for some reason you shouldn't lose your undead companions because you'd still be a necromancer capable of keeping them around.
