So does it actually do anything? Wenduag says its supposed to be powerful, but i cant find any buff on my character.

Bumping this as I'm also curious. There is a buff associated to that character that is found in toybox but it looks like its NPC or potentially Wenduag only.

It's possible the stinger only makes Mongrels more powerful due to some reaction with their tainted blood.

It gives you a buff, prevents death effects, poison and electricity. You also get a buff that makes it so melee attacks apply 1 (stacking to 10) negative levels on hit.
