Ok thats a good one XD
Staunton has an absolutely terrible build and stat allocation, and most of you can't fix due to the stupid respec restrictions. But since he'll get his other stats buffed by you, you can afford to dump his level up stat points into wisdom so he can actually do some cleric stuff. But the other undead minions you can get later on are much better than him.
mild spoiler - be a complete Jerk to Ciar at every opportunity if you're going for Lich.
Staunton's build is awful. And it is a little sad that the undead companions have so few interactions with anything else.
Kestoglyr you would have come across as part of the last dungeon of Act 4. After beating him you get a Lich option to revive him, and then he joins in Act 5.
Not sure how you did, but it's unfortunate you missed him because he legitimately is one of the strongest companions in the game.
Dude is a beast.
