Bad idea to kill guards to get to middle city in Abyss?

I failed the intimidation check so guards will not let me in to middle city. Is it a bad idea to arttack guards to get inside? Othere than the fight I mean (like being locked out of quests/ options). Or other options?

You can also use athletics or mobility (not sure which) checks to get up through climbing the walls.

From my experience it does not matter on quests.
Demons respect strength.

Yes thanks found it. I think it is both but first one is pretty high athletics so failed until I used animal growth on my animal.

Dunno I treated the abyss as a dungeon and killed everything except noctiicula, mind you the only reason I did not try to get her too was that there was no attack in the dialog options :(
Did not seem to affect much but half way in I decided to do their quests first and kill them afterwards so I get more exp and treasure ^^
