Are Mythic Paths Alignment locked?

I was attempting a play through to be a trickster and it made me have to be neutral before i could continue the quest, Are all mythic paths locked into a specific alignment?

Are there any that are not? Id like to be able to choose my reaction based on how i am actually feeling about the situation and not be locked into always having to choose lawful like i am for aeon.

pretty much, if you want to choose freely, you're pretty much stuck with "Legend." it's a little annoying, but the alternative is impossible to justify, can't have a good Lich or an evil Azata.

That said, it's pretty forgiving. For my lich I was good, at some point it forced me to become neutral and I pretty much stayed there despite picking whatever I felt like. You don't have to pick just whatever your alignment is, but you should keep the overall alignment of your path in mind.

If i happen to slip out of my alignment do i fail quests or will i just not be able to continue them until i get back into the correct one?

Yet Azata is one of two paths to the Lawful/Evil Devil path o_O

If I understand correctly, you will simply be blocked from progress. Note that because shifting alignments is generally not a rapid process this has the potential to prevent you from reaching Mythic 10 before the game ends. It is recommended to pick a mythic path that matches how you are playing your character and then avoid drifting away from that alignment.

Sadly it's either that (not a good choice, respec is cause for tons of bugs currently) or ToyBox from NexusMods.

Which is normal. The opposite of the azata is th devil, so when an azata fall from grace they fall into devils, just like archons fall into demons and agathions fall into daemons.

I mean that's a double axis fall, it's actually extremaly rare as you can imagine. The reason for Devil is in-story not in-mechanical. Logically it's an unrealistically big change of character ;p Azata mostly "fall" on the good/evil axis not chaos/law; thus becoming Daemons more often than anything else.

I remember cheating them in in Kingmaker. But i don't think a cheat items will be in a legal cleric's shop ;p but i suppose, if they are here too (same assets so probably yes) you can cheat it in. But i think they only allowed you to change into good characters? Can't remember, Kingmaker was... thrash.
Then again if you are "cheating" might as well just not go around and just use the safest method of cheating, why risk something breaking.
