Please Nerf Insanity

If I retreat back to Drezen, Insanity should go away, or at least not have me lose complete control of my main character trying to get to the temple to be healed... Where a party member hangs out and my character decides to run over and say "Hi." ... I mean, kill her.
In all seriousness this has been the most frustrating part of the game for me so far.

I do not know what you did to suffer like that. But there are indeed some items which keeps you cursed until you get rid of them. So, what happened to you?

I agree. I had to reload at some point and replay the battle (the final battle in the Hell Knight citadel) where I got the condition cause I did not have greater restoration and my main char was killing the party.

I was not happy REPLAYING that :P

I redid that bloody Hellknight citadel battle three times and every single time my main character gets hit with the insanity spell. Honestly at this point I think I'm just going to abandon that run.

had same problem, go to temple of good hunt, get the scroll you need there
