What is the difference in Bloodline between Seeker Sorcerer and base
or is Seeker just plain better?

Seeker is better as far as I am aware.

You need to decide yourself whether it is worth it or not.

The seeker gives up some bloodline feats in exchange for more skill proficiency as far as i can tell. Just play overwhelming mage, sage, or crossblood. The rest are very meh, and IMHO the overwhelming mage is probably the best, as you need all the spell penetration you can get later on.
