(SPOILERS) uuummm about a noble intent quest
so i am asked to look for the missing crusader, easy and done but the issue is, the certain somebody who was there before me just says its unfornunate or w.e then attacks me on the spot, i get no dialog options to try n keep her, how did i mess up?

I read somewhere that it might be also alignment dependent. She did talk to my Chaotic Neutral trickster.

If you don't even get a dialogue option you probably messed up somewhere earlier.

It's not, my character was a chaotic good trickster with no issues there.

This quest was badly written imo, unless I missed some kind of prerequisite. When confronting her, my only options were to let her go or kill her on the spot. Neither felt appropriate for my character. What happened to a trial and imprisonment?
