Hellknight - Armiger build question.
I am right now at Armiger 10 / Hellknight 1. I was thinking of going up to Hellknight 10.

I can't find any build with Hellknight 10. The only Hellknight / Armiger builds I find are Hellknight 1 / Armiger 19.

Whats your experience? Advice? It's my MCs class and I don't wanna have to respec him cause I heard theres bugs but I also tont wanna end up with a useless char late game.

Hey there. Hellknight, like most of prestige classes, are a bit weak. There are more powerfull choices for melee MC. But it depends on your game difficulty much. If you play on Core or higher - go for Armiger/Hellkight/Bloodrager-Primalist, for example.
If you don't care about difficulty much - set Easy or Story and just have fun(wich is more prefereble, since there are a lot of bugs at the moment).

I'm playing on normal right now. Have a lvl up but have it sitting there cause I'm not sure where to go...

Armiger 10 is alrady a bit too much, if you want my opinion. Do you use autolvling for companions?

Backup your save, and then respec and if a bug happens revert to your backup. (As in find your actual save game in your PCs file system, and copy it to somewhere you'll be able to find again)

And yeah, the reason you are seeing Armiger 19/hellknight 1 is because hellknight requires too much investment for too little reward. It's a very unfortunate issue in Pathfinder 1E that is being exaggerated by the bloated stats of enemies in this game (which means you have to minmax harder and a class being weak is a much bigger problem to your success)

Not for all. I'm autoleveling Lann and Arue (wanna see how their classes play out), the rest of the party I'm leveling on my own.

Thank you!

Is there something specific that bugs during respec? Ill avoid but just in case...

Aru and Lann autobuilds are mostly ok, as far as I know. If you like Hellknights lorewise(like i do), you can just go 10/10, and it'll be ok till around Act 4, where AC of enemies drastically goes up. So you either have to minmax now, mixing it with bloodrager, scald or even throw some lvls of monk in, or just tone difficulty down a bit if it gets ugly.

There are not too much of class-related interactions during the game. You can become official Hellknight, tho(More like knigh-without-an-order), and some NPCs will mention that you are a Hellknight.

There is this Aeon Hellknight/Armiger build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVjHH1OzU8w

(There is a text version in the first comment.)

It's for beta and only up to lvl 14, but I think you can build your character based on it.

I've played a bit with it on low difficulty, and it seems to be a fun build. Don't know if it'll work on Core or harder.

Two-hander Hellknight works pretty well for Hard. I went 5 Armiger 10 Hellknight for Aeon path, so far everything dies pretty easy. Glaive is a great choice since you get some neat early glaives like Marching Terror and Soulshear. Also one of the books in Kenabres gives +1 to Glaive roll, a book about Baphomet.

Your role is to destroy people by staying behind Seelah and Camellia (or any other tank you have).

Since mostly you fight demons, Smite Chaos comes in handy and Hellknight has some neat extra defenses and abilities. Aeon abilities and spellbook will fill any gaps you might have.

Yes, I'm indeed a big fan lorewise. Up to know I'm quite happy with their portrayal in game and Regill is great. Thanks for the advice will take in mind.

I'm using greatsword more or less trying to deal maximum amount of damage. Good to know it works. Thank you!

I am not sure about greatsword since it is not a reach weapon like glaive but yeah it should work well too. Regardless everything gets better when you get access to Legendary Proportions with one of your casters. Suddenly my glaive could reach everywhere on the field. And with Hellknight armor it looks badass and Asmodeus would be proud of your ferocity.

Yup, black sheep of my family back Cheliax >:)

Order of the Chain btw. Your char? Bit off topic but curious.

In the late acts, it also very much depends on whole party, not just MC.
From what you've told - I guess, you have Regill, Lann, Aru, Daeran\Sosiel and Ember\Nenio in your constant party? This setup might be a little bit too fragile in the endgame.

Regill, Lann, Aru, Daeran and Woljif (Arcane Bomber)
