Questions about Gray Garrison (Spoilers)

According to the unique items guide, I can find Magnificent Plume Hat, Red Dragon Helmet and Dashing Cavalier's Gloves here. Where are they?

At the 2nd floor, there is this painting with the holy aura or something, which you can interact with. In the room to the right after the stairs. I thought it purifies the corruption, but it does not. What does it do?

The first time you interact with it you will receive some information about it. The second time you interact with it you will cleanse the corruption. You will find various similar items as you adventure and this process is the same for those items as well.

I don't recall any of those items in Gray Garrison, but maybe I missed them. If your item guide doesn't state where they are located then I would suggest looking them up in a search engine to find their location from another web site. This might expose you to spoilers, but if you are looking up item guides you don't seem to be too worried about that.

They could be hidden locations that you have to roll perception for. If your party misses their perception check you don’t make a new one until your next level.

You don't find those items there. Those are Commander pack bonus items and you find them after you leave the intro and are in the defender's inn. Inside your stash chest. Wherever you read that is wrong.

If you didn't buy the pack, you don't get them.
