If this is the case, I’ve seen people state in the forums that your chosen mythic path redetermines your “original” alignment. In the case of Angel it is now Lawful Good so if you you are already there, atonement will do nothing. In full disclosure, I haven’t actually witnessed this nor am I aware if this actually true, or if it’s mythic level dependent.
Regardless, if you’re not adverse to using a mod, I believe ToyBox will allow you change your alignment. Just remember that mods will disable achievements so you need to use ToyBox’s option to allow achievements or uninstall that mod afterwards
Just tested mythic - it will not change your alignment. My chaotic evil character is still a chaotic evil angel.
Makes me wonder where you can find that jerk ingame. I cannot recall anything ingame saying you get rewarded for being lawful good. If anything, nowadays that kinda counts as curse.
The "jerk" is Spoiler alert...
Iomedae's herald. He gives you a quest to change your alignment to LG in Drezen and says some vague things like "come see me when you are pure, I will make it worth your while" or something.
And yes, scroll does nothing as Dekkion mentioned. Crazy to me that it doesn't do anything even if you are an evil angel. Btw, the scroll does work sometimes. I think I used it act 2 or 3 to go from NG to CG and it worked fine then.
And yes, I ended up using the mod to change my alignment It was just too awkward to stop leveling my main class at 16 right before getting all the good perks.
