Why second Greater Spell Focus Not-Recommended?
My Nenio has Greater Spell focus in Illusion and Spell Focus in Evocation. I was going to take the second Greater Spell focus but it shows as Not-Recommended. However the game recommends that I take a third Spell Focus instead. Is there a good reason for that, or is the game just hurting itself in confusion?

Basically that second one.

The game likes to be wrong. I mean, it lists Spell Pen as Not Recommended for Kineticists. Let me tell you, if you use energy blasts, you absolutely need Spell Pen.

Wizards are typically feat starved, so trying to specialize in 2 separate schools (with a finite number of feats available) is recommended against to help beginners. There is a mythic ability that applies school specific feats choices to another school altogether, so it might be worth spending those feats elsewhere.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Funnily, I just recruited some other new companion and the auto-level-up recommends some not-recommended feats.

Well there is a mythic feat - expanded arsenal (magic school) that gives spell focus and greater spell focus to 2nds school of magic.
So take just spell focus illusion, greater spell focus illusion and then mythic feat - expanded arsenal (magic school) evocation.
You will save 2 normal feats, which in my book is good trade.

That makes sense, but what confused me is that it recommends to take a third Spell Focus instead of the second Greater SF. So it recommends that I spread out even more.

Wizards Feat starved? Just what are you taking? usually ou have more than enough room to have spell focus and greater spell focus in about 3 schools by late game.

Maybe it was written by people who thought a GDP of Italy could stand up to the USA?

Nenio is a Scroll Savant, and that class does not get the usual Wizard Bonus Feats. Add that to the fact that she is not Human and you have a very feat-starved character.
