Second playthrough: companion classes
So, I finished WotR as a good-aligned fighter (Dragonheir Scion) choosing the path of the Gold Dragon carrying with me Seelah, Ember, Arueshalae, Sosiel and Nenio.
I didn't make weird builds; I just went through twenty levels picking their base classes.
But I think I missed something, like the mounted combat.

On my second playthrough I'm going to play the cruonomancer and yes, I'll choose the Lich mythic path (of course).
This time I'll bring with me five of these six characters: Camellia, Woljif, Daeran, Regill, Wenduag, Staunton (but it seems, as a Lich, I can reanimate much more characters as undead companions).

As I previously said, I didn't have any mount - now I want it.
Any more stuff I missed playing "plainly" on my first playthrough?

I suggest against a mount in lich path as it's alive.
Also note that certain aspects of mounts are bugged right now, if I understand correctly. You might want to save mounts for later.

Lich actually can get a Chevalier companion.

Making your mount (but only your own) undead is one available Lich power.

Sorry I didn't know that.

Every animal companion could take the undead archetype at level 1

Mounts are a fing pain, go to new area dismount remount, have a fight dismount remount, reload a save dismount remount, tell character to go somewhere doesn't go because mount wants to fight so dismount, better to just put the pets on the front line and let them be fodder.

If the default for mounts was to be mounted instead it would be awesome. As it is now it gets old re-mounting constantly.

It seems I didn't miss something worth xddd

Pick some classes that aren’t covered by companions, like kinecticists or some of the prestige classes. Maybe look up some of the more complex builds and some minmaxing builds.

I don't like kineticist at all - as a main caster in PnP, I like to have tons of spells which 99% of them are utility ones like fly, feather fall, spider climb and so on.

Maybe look up some of the more complex builds and some minmaxing builds.

Yes, more or less I was asking about that xD

What complex builds should I choose for the "evil" companions? I don't trust online guides/builds because they say "Gold Dragon viable, 300+ damage in a round!" when I do 500+ in a round without critical hits with a suboptimal build.
I read about dipping Woljif into Eldritch Archer into Eldritch Knight; I'd like to try the Eldritch Knight (I didn't try it in Kingmaker) but I totally dislike ranged rogues per flavour reason.

But, the rogue does the rogue stuff; Regill will be the physical-melee damage dealer; Staunton will be the tank (maybe I'll resurrect him as a Sword Saint? XD).
Camellia...? Spirit Hunter is a melee class more or less, but I'm afraid thinking about her on the front line.

Seelah cold have done mounted combat for you. At lvl 5 you take Divine Bond or Animal Companion - just take the horse. Make it a Bulwark (animal class), make sure to give it +1 Int at level 4 (always give your animal companions +1 Int at level 4, it unlocks a few feats), then take Back to Back and Outflank at levels 5 & 7 on the horse (and at 3 and 5 or 5 and 7 for Seelah). When Seelah is mounted on the horse, they both will always count for Back to Back and Outflank.

Camelia can have one of the highest ACs, the only issue with her is she won't have as many hitpoints, so she'll feel it more when she does get hit. Just make sure to get the Battlemaster and Iceplant hexes, the ring from the scroll merchant in the inn that doubles the bonus from Iceplant, Weapon Focus Rapier, Fencing Grace, Combat Reflexes, Outflank, and Back to Back. Always use her Keen enhancement from her class. Take Second Spirit: Wind as one of her first Mythics - I forget the name, but one of the Hexes it unlocks grants more AC. Air Barrier or something.

Seelah is history :(

I am actually playing with the idea of Camillia as an evil cleric on my next play thru (demon or lich). She can get a pet thru animal domain and doesn’t lose much over shaman. Plus it means you may be able to use Daren for more than heals.

Seelah as a bard is interesting but yaaaa lich huh….

Wendy as a close range knife master is insane plus you now have a use for the crap ton of special daggers the game just dumps on you. Plus you get an undead archer companion that can replace her for range.

I'm thinking about killing her. Again.
I mean, I'm a Lich (I shall become a Lich) but I'm not rotten inside; I don't want to sacrifice people to demons just because.
I want to be like Kiritsugu: killing one hundred guys to save one hundred and one guys.

Yeah, she will be *definitely* in my party :D
Best to keep Wend as Lann by comparrison is ♥♥♥♥ due to being a monk, Wend can be built in so many differant ways and as a general rule she is way less annoying then Lann AND is VERY euthistastic about killing enemies also she follows the strong in a world the weak aren't built to breath
