Shifter idk it’s possible if they decide to add new ones but that’s if we shall see.
I wouldn’t be surprised if modders figure it out and make it a possibility
Thats the thing, where are the other shifter types?
Its all the same! Dragon this, dragon that, and umm another dragon. I like the elementals at least, something new-
wheres undead form?(dhampir dont make me laugh- its just fluff) minautaur, rakshasa, outsiders?
and druids are stuck in a few beast shapes- mostly bear- and wolf in other games..
so im guessing in pathfinder world, the shapeshifting classes are not played? popular?
all the models are there in game.
Nah the issue comes with it being a video game. Every shape needs animations, sounds, and such so they tend to keep them somewhat limited. yes the enemy models for some are there but its not as easy as just switching them over theres also balance to think of.
though Demon mythic gets a lot of nice ones and is probably why most of the abyssal outsiders arent gotten by other classes for changing it would take away from the path
Call of the Wild, a mod for Kingmaker, managed to successfully add the Summoner class. I didn't play it fully myself, so I don't know if they had to make a lot of concessions to get it working, but it existed.
Not saying that means anything, I'm not gonna demand anything from Owlcat, they can add whatever classes they want, there's so many to choose from. But at least it means modders have done it once, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did it again.
I could see Swashbuckler getting added as a first step towards getting a working panache system in place for the inevitable Gunslinger class, if the next game ends up being Iron Gods.
For example, Mixed-blood Rager has barely any functional ability.
So true...
Playing the first Neverwinter Nights with a shifter ages ago was actually my first contact with the world of Forgotten Realms. Very fond memories :).
