Summoner and/or Shifter in future DLC?
Is there a chance we get one or both of these base classes in one of the future DLCs? I know WotR already has a bunch of classes but that would be awesome as they are pretty unique to play!

No, and idk. They haven’t said anything about new classes but they did say summoner had issues and was to complex so that’s why it wasn’t chosen to be added when planning WotR.

Shifter idk it’s possible if they decide to add new ones but that’s if we shall see.

Doesn't mean I and people like me are not going to keep hoping for summoner though

I wouldn’t be surprised if modders figure it out and make it a possibility

The shifter was one of my favourite classes in old neverwinter nights.

Thats the thing, where are the other shifter types?

Its all the same! Dragon this, dragon that, and umm another dragon. I like the elementals at least, something new-

wheres undead form?(dhampir dont make me laugh- its just fluff) minautaur, rakshasa, outsiders?

and druids are stuck in a few beast shapes- mostly bear- and wolf in other games..

so im guessing in pathfinder world, the shapeshifting classes are not played? popular?
all the models are there in game.

Nah the issue comes with it being a video game. Every shape needs animations, sounds, and such so they tend to keep them somewhat limited. yes the enemy models for some are there but its not as easy as just switching them over theres also balance to think of.

though Demon mythic gets a lot of nice ones and is probably why most of the abyssal outsiders arent gotten by other classes for changing it would take away from the path

Call of the Wild, a mod for Kingmaker, managed to successfully add the Summoner class. I didn't play it fully myself, so I don't know if they had to make a lot of concessions to get it working, but it existed.

Not saying that means anything, I'm not gonna demand anything from Owlcat, they can add whatever classes they want, there's so many to choose from. But at least it means modders have done it once, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did it again.

They already announced what the 3 new DLC will have and there was no mention of classes. I would think if they were planning to add them they would mention that as it's a pretty big selling point, I have no interest in the DLC's as they are now but would consider them if they had new classes.

CotW’s Summoner (the unchained version) worked excellently and made nearly no concessions; most importantly the author was able to offer quite a few eidolon options using existing assets and they fit in well with the game. The clunkiest aspects were the evolution selection system, which Owlcat would have the ability to create a new UI for, and the “unsummoning” mechanic which I’m not sure how they would solve. I guess Owlcat feels they would have to make new unique models if they were to implement it.

Werewolf class please. PLEASE! ><

If they add any new classes in the DLC (or a potential Enhanced Edition), the most likely ones would probably be the remaining Advanced Classes Guide classes - Brawler, Investigator, Swashbuckler.
I could see Swashbuckler getting added as a first step towards getting a working panache system in place for the inevitable Gunslinger class, if the next game ends up being Iron Gods.

Yes please, wizards had this as a discovery in pnp, it's be nice to have a class that could simulate it

I'd like Shifter to be added. But I'd rather they fix existing classes first.
For example, Mixed-blood Rager has barely any functional ability.

So true...
Playing the first Neverwinter Nights with a shifter ages ago was actually my first contact with the world of Forgotten Realms. Very fond memories :).
