Wish there were whips in this game

Calistria favored weapon is a whip, and Pathfinder does have various types of whip like weapons in the srd, if I recall they are all decent weapons. I'd mostly like them simply for theme reason, especially on a inquisitor or a undead ranger type like Simon Belmont lol.

Whip on a warpriest - get that sacred weapon damage - in the game I GM one of my players does this and it is tremendously effective.

Is it even physically possible to kill something with a whip? At least in a way that won't take several hours. I don't really know much about them.

Whips are nice, but I'm thinking more spiked chains, now that'd be fun.

If you hit some vulnerable spots like carotid artery, temple or eyes or you can strangle with it. Otherwise whip can't penetrate even good leather jacket. THB longsword actually pure 2h weapon in reality. Onehanded thing called longsword in most games acutally arming sword or broadsword. But we have fantasy here. So... just forget it.
