Heroes: Baaaaa.
Brown Fur was in 2nd playthrough, so can't take for the 3rd :s
and it does not look like they changed the class that much in this game
so if you want to play some kind of shaper i would try metamorph subclass from alchemist, it at least has mutagen, wings and alchemist spell list to help with AC
And may be just plain 20 lvls into mutation warrior or someone with the animal companion to boost your companion even more with stat bonuses. I like the idea of polymorphing into things in rpgs, but seems it's far from being strong here.
he won't win any award for op anything but ...
-can still have ~45 strength
-can have pounce (all attacks when charging)
-and pounce + Mythic charge are very nice
-hit harder and more accurately with rage
-can take some hits
played with Azata Mythic Path and it was ok maybe change 2 Gold Dragon for some charging pouncing raging dragon
I had hoped after Owlcat would improve this aspect if the game, especially with the addition of Dinos and kingmaker’s CotW mod to pave the way, but it seemed they did not.
Or just go druid
I thought aspect of the wolf was a polymorph as it states it is. Yet it didnt work with master shapeshifter so that rules our hunter.
