In act 2 you are limited to your general and some specific units.

Basically the problem is that its very resistant to physical but you only have physical units.
Personally I went with Clerics swordmen and archers. Clerics tank and the other 2 did damage VERY slowly. I heard it helps if you have the caster general to cast a few fire spells ( i started with elf general like you so I did not have the other )
thats the units i got.
maybe its related to some npc in the camp?
i just have 0 idea how to make my army bigger or get different units at all
also i think this system or part of the game is kinda unnecessary headache.
i have elf mage as commander and she cant xD
