Whats the difference with Shelyn in cannon and kingmaker? this is me genuinely curious not trying to prove some "ur wrong" point.
Huh? There is a relatively fresh thread about that already: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1184370/discussions/0/2961670087550036792/
Or do you mean something else in this thread?
It didnt domanything to Shelyn herself but it had a sect of Shelyn paladins that were really wacko zealoty. (Valerie’s entire personal quest)
During the final battle of the Drezen assault I could invoke her for a nice buff.
Definitely will be choosing the gods more carefully for the next playthroughs.
In canon she is basically the kindest, most loving person ever. Her clergy are all about forgiveness, looking for the best in people, INNER beauty and CREATING beauty through art. In Kingmaker the clergy tried forcing their faith down Valerie's throat and forced her to serve as a living object of worship, purely because of her good looks. And when she got really, truly sick of it Shelyn put a scar across her face as punishment, which she then removes if Valerie sort-of makes peace with the church.
Also, (spoilers for late game mythic path incoming) as a Devil you do get to invoke Asmodeus and Mephistopheles a few times in-game, so Asmodean cleric could be a neat tie in for anyone interested in a lawful and/or evil playthrough .
