Wenduag and Lann (spoilers will be discussed)

So was partly discussed in another thread by another user. But apparently said user didn't reach that point.

What exactly is the make up of the choice/options with Lann Vs Wenduag?

I've done a few playthroughs where I chose Lann over Wenduag because my MC was good or good (ish) then picked up Wenduag in act 3 (well the broken shell she is by that point)

And then she betrays you in act 4 according to what I read if you picked Lann first and will only stay with you if you picked her first. Now I haven't reached that point yet in my playthroughs because I restarted for various reasons unrelated

I've also read that she can be influenced to move from neutral evil to neutral.

Now I'm trying to figure out what my options are just to see what kind of story I could experience

Is there a way to get both Lann and Wenduag and for Wenduag not to betray you?

Can you influence an alignment change without romancing her?

If the above are possible who do you need to pick first?

And how fast can you recruit the other? (as in what chapter ?)

Will you still get the chance to do their personal quests or are they mutually exclusive?

I know some characters are completely locked out of certain paths or leave later because of them.

But finding any information except bare bones stuff from reddit has been difficult.

Basically I want to do a play through as someone who helps as many people as possible and pushes the most of them towards good and redemption and stuff (yes it's cheesy but I plan on doing an evil playthrough later at some point)

I'm very aware Camelia is a lost cause and it's all fine story wise. But I'm just not clear on the above questions with those two.

Wenduag probably gonan end up as one of those least picked characters...Im really disappointed she is just an smug ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who is evil. Her and Lann played off each others nicely. Just to bump your stuff! But in my playthrough I could not save her. Had to kill her, a pity.

Well, you're not wrong but Wenduag is annoying in her own way "I DO WHAT I WANT! REE!" tier.

My questions really aren't aimed at liking a character or not. Just getting some facts. Whether I like either of them isn't really relevant since I'll do multiple finished playthrough as I go just like I do with most rpgs. I'm really just trying to know what can be done and what is mutually exclusive so I don't waste time in one playthrough trying to find some way to do do something that's hard coded into the game as not being possible.

She licks your boots and calls you master, shes far more sufferable than Lann

I chose wenduag at the start, romanced to change her alignment. Seemed to do everything right, yet she still betrayed me. Why? Is it because I picked Aru over her (i'd already completed wenduags romance path)?

I got both Wenduag and Lann by picking Wenduag first

Having wenduag beat Lann and then picking a very specific lawful option while talking to Lann after his defeat that said something like
"You dont do whats good for the clan because your clan has decided on a direction and youre the only guy who works against it - just help your clan even if you dont agree"

Overheard Wenduag talking to the Demon in his house after the fight when she leaves in alshurrya but didnt confront her there - picked the evil option in dialogue at camp.

Got betrayed by Wenduag in chapter 5 when fighting the Demon + Lann showed up but after beating Wenduag and the demon wenduag basically just goes: " welp i tried, i totally wont betray you again Kappa" and she actually just didnt. And Lann basically said that you were right and he should help his clan even if he disagrees with them because family blahblah.

And then i got both wenduag and Lann in chapter 5. Finished the game with both of them in the party at all times after that.

Didnt bother with any of the romance options.

Not super worth it considering how late in the game it is but it does work.

^I found that part of Wenduags personality worse than the whole being evil part. Can't stand bootlickers and jesus christ my boots have never been that shiny before.
