"Rowdy adds 2d6 additional damage per sneak attack die to the damage Of his vital strike. This is precision damage."
So that means if the Rowdy was 3d6 sneak attack its gonna be 9d6 on vital strike? (3d6 + 3*2d6)
Isn't that huge sneak attack damage? Whats the catch?
You only attack once with vital strike.
Still it is better in a sense that you can stay mobile while dealing plenty of damage and not relying on full atack. 3 Levels of two-handed fighter might be useful to for double strength bonus on your vital strike.
That is correct. The catch is Vital strike is only one hit as a standard action.
While at the start of the game people don't get a lot of hit per round so it is sweet.
