It is important that you have also gained his trust/ friendship in act 4 . And yeah you need to find the heart BEFORE the fight.

Yes it is in the prison, I think it was somewhere in the southeast . ( hard to remember in that place)

Where is his heart? Which floor is the prison? The one where you fight baphomet?

Is there any info on how you gain trust with him? For whatever reason I lost it, still not sure why. (was azata)

If you kill him he drops a shield that makes you immune to slash and piercing damage at full health tho.

I redeemed him and got it anyway.

As for how to gain his trust, just be LG really with him. If you have Toybox, enable it so you can see the dialogue results, and look for anything that says HeroldRespect and just pick that always.

-Not agreeing to any demon deal in Act IV
-Freeing all the slaves and taking them to your camp, apart from those magically charged bombs (do not know if there is a difference between buying all sleves and freeing them through violnece) I've bought all slaves prior to slaughtering the whole market
-Not fighting more fights than necessary in the Battle Bliss Arena (So only fight until you kill the champion)
-Maybe rescuing Sosiel's brother
-I've also killed pretty much all the optional/forced fights against demons

the Hand is held in the location Ineluctable Prison. His heart is in the South East of the dungeon, like Kurosu said. There is a stone circle on the ground and you need to press it (touch it) and pass high Knowledge Arcana check. Then stairs down will appear, there is a large room with some enemies and his heart is lying on the table.

Is this in the area where you first fight baphoment and his daughter? After going through the crystal mines? or is this further ahead in the story?
