Did not see that option for her. Dont have a Bard with me but I buffed everything I could before the fight.
I see the most essential member of the party in front.
The enemies coming from behind can be countered with positive energy channeling while at the same time it counters the damage reduction.
Focus healing on whoever tank(s) you have with them being on defensive fighting style whenever possible. During my run my main character - sorceress - did tank secondary, after my paladin fell. Mirror image can be very powerful. Just keep in mind those who tank and supports the tank are kinda locked to do so until Playful Darkness is down.
If you have the Dwarven tankard which summons Azata or summon huge/elder elementals - those are incredibly helpful too.
However, I cannot underline enough how helpful mirror image, blur, displacement are in that battle.
Did that give you the 50K xp or so that it gives? I feel like thats the main motivation to kill this thing anyway.
