Tips for Drezden siege
Many people are having trouble sieging Drezden but it's actually quite easy if you fully use all available tools at your disposal.

The best way to make Drezden a breeze is to make sure you get the Queen to fight with you. (Might have to convince her to join the army in a previous encounter)

During the siege, the queen and Irabeth always stay at designated spots. All you have to do is to get a fast character to drag all the hard mobs to the queen. She will hit them like a truck. What's the point of joining the army, if she never gets to fight? On hard and unfair, some mobs will be strong enough to kill the queen, so make sure you get your party to help her out. (although she never really dies, just goes unconcious)

Another tip especially for harder difficulties is to kill all the friendly crusaders by dragging mobs to them. they drop a ton of expensive gear, and can also help you out a bit. they're like free summons.

The only hard parts of the siege are indoor areas where no one can help you, but the mobs inside are usually tuned down a bit. Save your short buffs for these fights.

Sounds like some exploit.
I would have expected a tip like: follow Regill's advice. He knows what is good for your party.

He actually does but since he is a Hellknight most People want listen to him anyway.

Cheese Tactics are Boring, might be a way for Unfair but every other Difficulty is beatable through Good Decision Making and Charakter Building.

I wanted Arueshalae, so down the prison I go. Nice to see there was some free bonis exp mobs there. Thanks Nurah

It's not really an exploit because it doesn't break immersion. The indoor areas are the hardest parts anyway, and you have to do them yourself. On unfair, every single tactic you use are exploits, because that's how Owlcat designed it. It's either exploiting some mechanic, or simply exploiting the terrible enemy AI.

Well, that is unfair after all.

You can go to the dungeons/prison anyroads - even without Nurah. Aruaru will still be there.

The problem is I see a lot of players complain about how the game is too hard, but there are plenty of tools that can help them win fights. I saw a couple of posts about how the Drezden siege was the hardest part of the game, but it's quite easy if you use all available tools at your disposal.

Especially since during the final boss fight, the queen will automatically join the fight, so it's literally by design.

In fact, getting a fast character to kite enemies is one of the most important strategies for higher difficulties. A lot of tough bosses have a lot of spells and self buffs. However, a lot of these buffs have short durations. It doesn't make any sense getting all your dudes to charge into a boss with full stacks of mirror image, blur and some negative level auras. Just aggro the boss, drag him around, or de-aggro him, and waste his buffs. When the buffs run out, you can charge in. Most enemies will de-aggro after a certain distance.

I followed his advice and if you do he is locked into your party until you finish Drezen. He is not bad, but if you have a set party you might be in trouble. I had to give up Daeran.

The Queen joining the Fight isnt an Option for all and everyone. Depending on several Decisions she isnt even present at the Battle, and she beeing not there is Mandatory for some other things to be happen in the Game.

So no the "NPC is helping you"-Card isnt an Argument why or why not, Siege of Drezen is hard.

That Said i agree on basicly everything Else. Most Player just dont wanna do as the Game wants and are to Proud to play on Lower Difficulty if its to hard for them.
And oh yeah instead of drag them around simply use Dispel Magic, thats why its there :D
