But yeah, it's annoying.
Or one of your (un)willing undead followers? :P
Does turning into a skeleton eat up all the libido? Meeeeh.
Which bone do you use to *ahem* bone? *puts on sunglasses*
After the loss of the love interest and the transformation scene, any time a companion quest makes them decide to sacrifice themselves or otherwise leave the party, they are replaced with a graveguard. Sort of a "you served me well, so I will assist with your concerns, but if you are lost pursuing your goals, I am beyond caring about such mortal considerations." I've... lost a few so far that way. I think the only living people in my current party are Ember and (corrupted) Arushelae. I think I am permanently down 4 companions, and could theoretically get 1 more back, but have decided not to.
A man of culture I see.
Daeran by the way is the best NPC to talk to after your transformation. You can ask him now that you're a lich, is romance still on the table? He responds to something of the fact of "I can see us now, in a castle. You, bones gleaming white, me looking longingly into your eye sockets.... No, of course not, are you crazy? You gave up sensation and feeling for power. Me? Sensation and feeling are the only reason for me to gain power!"
The line he gives is better, but it aptly sums it up.
One of the weak points of the game is the lack of paradox or finesse in its mythic classes.
Despite the fact that I was LE before I turned into a lich, all the companions had me right and I had clearly done some GOOD deeds while being without a shadow of a doubt a hardcore crusader.
I become a lich and bam, I am evil incarnate, everyone hates me.
Having saved the widow and the orphan, angels, held heads against demons, killed a demon lord ? Nah, I'm really the worst monster ever.
Meh, the girls in Pathfinder are way to closed minded.
I never had problems boning girls while playing as Fane (skeleton dude) in Divinity Original Sin 2. :P
They were "boned" good and happy.
In Pathfinder there is clearly discrimination against people without flesh.
Corpsephobia!
The tail bone... clearly
