[Demon Path spoilers] Arueshalae
Is there any way to keep an uncorrupted Arueshalae if you go Demon Mythic Path?

No, uncorrupted Arue leaves . She shows her fear/despair from you the moment you pick the patch at the end of act 2 ( if she was recruited ).

Yes.

How?

1. Demon mythic path does not mean per default its evil. Aruaru is wary, but that is not enough reason for her to leave.

2. She will ask for an audience a few days after the conquer of Drezen. When you choose the chaotic dialogue option you convince her to stay. The rest of the game related to her does not differ from what I experienced on Angel mythic path.

You can help her with redemption or corrupt her, regardless whether you are a demon or not. If an angel can fall, why should a demon not be able to ascend?

Dude please do not mislead.

The companions that leave due to paths do so At the end of act 4/start of act 5 (usually when you get mythic rank 8 )

Arue WILL leave you in act 5 if you remain a demon and she is uncorrupted.

Nobody leaves you in act 3 because your path can still "change" . The same applies to other paths Like Lich or Aeon.

He said the rest of the game didn't differ. Although whether or not that's true will be the deciding factor of if I ever go down that path in on of my PTs. I heard someone mention that it might depend on how often you give in to the demonic rage, but once again I don't know if that's true. I'm quite frankly scared of trying to see if she sticks around or not, because she's by far the best romance option in my opinion, and I don't want to waste a ton of time playing and then having her leave. In true Illidan fashion I'd be heartbroken, especially if you play as a MC who for RP reasons only goes that route to fight fire with fire, and not to be an evil clown. I'll be the first to admit that her leaving makes sense, but it would be a deal-breaker for me since it effectively leaves you with only having Cam-cam and Windu as female LIs, and Cam-cam is a no-no if you play as a woman. Granted there's the secret Demon romance who I won't name, but lets be real that isn't as satisfying as a companion you've gotten close to doing the game. I'd honest to god love if people stopped spreading wrong information about her route, since at this point I don't actually know for certain whether or not she leaves despite not actively playing as a super evil char. Some people say she can stay, while others say it's a definite no and as I said, I'm too scared about wasting a ton of time just to be hugely disappointed down the road.

You can watch "Arueshalae Romance | Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous" video on YT and judge for yourself from the last dialogue, if you're not afraid of spoilers (personally I skipped through the video as much as possible). Not saying it as a confirmation, because I haven't played that scene myself, but you can at least make an educated guess after this video.

I just did this part of the game last night with the toy box mod option for dialogue options previews turned on. I had uncorrupted Arue and it showed she would leave if I picked demon for rank 8. It also shows seelah will leave if you go lich, and Camilla leaves if your go Aeon.

If you don’t want to trust random people on the internet just make a save in drezen before you get close to the storyteller and pick demon. When she leaves you can then reload and pick something different.

It might be that this result is a sum of different triggers throughout the playthrough. I'm under the impression that not controlling the demon rage is a deciding factor here, can you please share how often (if ever) did you pick to unleash the rage instead of controlling it?

Also, in your PT, what was your alignment?

This is the kind of information we need. What I'm confused about, is whether or not you can keep her assuming that you keep your rage controlled. Because based on what others have said online, that's the thing it comes down to in terms of keeping her (assuming they weren't sharing wrong information for one reason or another)

I don't have an answer for you. But, from narrative point of view if you "keeping your rage controlled", doesn't that mean that your character basically resisting being a Demon? So if you pick Demon path again second time it's similar to finally giving in to it's power after all.
Atleast that's how it may look for Aru.
I suspect that demon mythic path default response right after level 8 transition will be anything but good and peacefull.

Not really, not all demons are about rage only, many are more cunning & reserved - plenty of examples in the game itself. And the game gives you the choice to rp such kind of a demon as well.

Which is great because the "Me angry! Me smash!" demon is not exactly the most interesting archetype around :LaughingOwlcat:

Demons are about sins, so not purely rage. Look at succubae for example, they don't tend to be the most rage fueled demons, which is because their focus lays elsewhere.

It more along the lines of you been directly opposition of what she strives to do. She's frantically running away from her demon origin, so much that even light joke regarding succubus can tick her off. And she constantly afraid that there is no way for her to completely change, to throw away all those dark thoughts and insitctive impulses that consumes her daily.
And here are you, who given actual chance to be purified from demonic origin, but decide to embrace it. Even if you have good intentions, I can see how Aru may want to keep her distance from you, if not to accidentaly revert back herself.
