Hand of the Inheritor is gone

So I'm at the end of Chapter 4, and I've seen other people say that the Hand of the Inheritor is supposed to be at camp sulking after meeting Areelu and Nocticula, but he isn't there. I looked everywhere in the Nexus, and he's simply gone. What am I gonna miss out on for not talking to him at this point, and is there any way to fix it?

Is he still missing after a long rest?

More details would be helpful to determine whether it might be an individual problem or caused by the latest patch.

Maybe it depends on how the meeting went and other factors, seemed to be pretty adamant about flying off to other ventures in my case but I never went back to nexus in any case, you will still meet him later on in other circumstances.

I'm not shure about the chapter but if you where in Abyss and talking whith these two... he was going away in my dialog because he has inform "somesone" about what happend. So he will not be at the camp/nexus.

Yes, I tried resting several times to make him reappear.
I don't know if it has anything to do with the patch, as I only JUST got to this point, after installing the patch.

Uh, we'd need way more information to go on to tell you more but for that meeting depending on your path, alignment and overall choices during act 4 he may simply leave completely and you won't see him again until the end of the act.

I think he as an hidden moral meters and if you do too many evil thing he leave you for good. Not sure how its work however. I guess he didn't like me allowing Camellia to go through with her deed. As he left in my game and the game was pretty clear about it. lol

If there is a moral meter, should it not be reflected in the dialogues the PC have with them? During my playthrough he clearly stated that he would be found at Nexus and needed some time to think. You could even convince them to stay.

hand of the inheritor left me for good after nocticular/areelu conversation and i killed a bunch of slavers, saved kids and aasimars and other stuff

screw that guy, pretty sure he's supposed to leave
