Sadly I don't have any of those :(
Guess I'll just keep loading and hope I eventually pass the save check
No, they don't. The level 8 improvements upon these spells do. I think you might be confusing the effects of this spell with the effects of the spell of the same name in DnD 3.5e and thus NWN that does protect against mind affecting spells.
Best OP can do are the low level anti mind affecting spells like Unbreakable Heart, which I'm not sure would work against domination. Break Enchantment might work too, but that has more of a tendency to remove your buffs as opposed to actually helping most of the time.
You're wrong.
Protection From Alignment[www.d20pfsrd.com] does prevent mental domination effects from creatures of that alignment, and it's pretty much always been this way.
And I've personally tested it in-game, and it does work against the succubus dominate as it is supposed to.
She died quickly anyway, thanks to the most OP hex of all : Slumber, with a coup de grâce on the following turn.
Ya they do. Read them.
“While under the effects of this spell, the target is immune to any new attempts to possess or exercise mental control over the target.“
https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/p/protection-from-evil/
Also you can easily find potions of proct from evil or buy scrolls at the defenders heart.
I don't believe that. It didn't work in Kingmaker, and it doesn't appear to work here. It's always been stated to work in PnP but it hasn't got that effect here afaik. I'll use Toybox to spawn some Succubi on a new character and get back to you on that.
Yes, they do (as they do in tabletop PF). I've used them (particularly the "communal" version) in game. Apparently they didn't in Kingmaker (can't really remember) and the description wasn't updated, and I'm not sure if the "new save when the spell is cast" works, but the "immune to new effects while under the influence of the spell" does.
Or pause frequently in RTWP and keep them on target.
And then when the fight is over, hit "Stop" in the bottom left. And theyll just.. stop. And not kill them.
Exercise a little control.
Did you right click the spell to read the full, verbose, real, actual description or were you just looking at the short quick summary of the tooltip?
It does work in Kingmaker.
You have to cast the correct version of the spell to oppose the alignment of the enemy caster.
It won't work if the enemy caster is true neutral because there isn't a "protection from neutral" version of the spell for obvious reasons.
Have a screenshot of the tooltip even though you will still claim it reads something else despite being presented with straightforward, unquestionable facts: https://i.imgur.com/X7VN4se.png
And yes, I do have full tooltips on. Here, this is the option: https://i.imgur.com/50Z50IF.png
Now please explain to me how I am still wrong because you have the data.
