Wintersun invigorate the land?
So i finished everything in wintersun (i think) dealing with the village, the shaman/bear thing and the kellid crypt. as i was leaving i ran into some 'invigorate the land' hand icon, i did it a rainbow popped up and a tree grew. ive no indication what that did, was that something i was supposed to do earlier, or just flavor stuff that has no effect? if its future story stuff just tell me without spoilers please

No idea what it does, there's one in Greengate as well. I'm thinking if you reinvigorated the land before talking to the crazy shaman in the cave you might get a different dialogue since her thing was needing to do questionable things for the land to continue living.

No idea if that is the case, don't have a save from there to check.

It’s a flavor thing for the Azata. You can do it in a few places (I think you get a buff but I didn’t check). Doing it in drezen is hilarious you turn half of one section into a small flower field/forest

It is probably for the best that there are no mechanics attached to this. If there were, with Owlcat's record so far there would be a 50/50 chance of it breaking the game.

The azata can revive the land that is poisoned by the world wound emanations. We get only the corruption mechanic from that, but travelling there is very hazardous. The revived land is again normal, but since there are no mechanics attached to it, it is merely background flavor.

Nothing but flavor. There's no mechanics behind it and doesnt get mentioned outside of the Azata questline.

Does it let you rest there without corruption?
Because that sounds like something that would happen if you cleansed it.

nope, although you're right that should be something

Would be nice, but I don't know. The first spot in the beta, on the flying island, did allow that. But no idea if that carried over to the release version.

The spot in your court has a 'Rest' icon on it. IIRC, using it to rest gives you some buffs.
