Game crashing for anyone else?

I was able to login to my Nexon account and after linking it the game crashed, now whenever I press play the game loads for a few seconds then crashes again. Tried verifying the cache to no avail.

My specs just in case:

AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
16GB RAM

Try to open the game without controller. When I connect the ps4 controller, the game crash.

Alright so I can't tag this as the solution since I posted the thread but I found a fix if a PS4 controller is giving you the problem:

Fix 1:
1. If you have any other controllers on hand, use one of those. If not I've found a workaround for us DS4 users

Fix 2:
1. I personally had been using InputMapper for my PS4 controller, which would make the game crash. Instead you're gonna wanna download SCPToolkit (download here: https://scptoolkit.software.informer.com/ )

2. Install the software and run the driver installer with your PS4 controller plugged in and go through the whole process (instructions are provided in the program and it's fairly straightforward)

3. Restart your PC and press the PS button and it should connect. Now launch KartRider and you should be able to get into the game, controller support and all.

(You can also use SCPToolkit if you wanna use your ps3 controller on your PC, just a heads up)

I hope this fixes everyone else's crashes

But I play all the games without InputMapper or something else, Steam autoconfigurates the PS4 controller.

I hope they correct the bug, thanks anyway for the advice

Hi all,

As was mentioned in this thread, the game currently only supports the Xbox controller. If you are loading the game with a Dual Shock or other type of controller, that can cause the game to crash.

If your game is crashing and you don't have a Dual Shock controller connected to your PC, if you have any other information you can provide (e.g. if there is any error), that would be helpful. Thank you.

I just got my key, and fired up the game. I get the splash screen, and then it immediately closes out. I am using a PC with a keyboard and mouse, no other custom controllers or anything. Any workaround for this?
