Troubleshooting and Bug reporting

Hi everyone,

If you have troubles running the game, please try the following first:

1. Update your graphic drivers - 95% of all issues are caused by old or buggy GPU drivers.
   
2. Check that the game is running under the correct GPU (in case you have more GPUs- integrated and dedicated).
   
3. Make sure you meet the System requirements.
   
4. Try running the game in administrator mode - https://ostoday.org/windows/how-to-run-steam-games-as-administrator-windows-10.html (there might be some folder permissions issues).

If you still experience issues running the game after you try all of the above, we are happy to provide one-on-one support.

If none of the above works, it is possible that you found a bug. Please let us know if this is the case and provide us as much information as possible.

If your problem is the game crashing, be sure to provide any information the error window[imperiumsgame.com] might request. This will help us greatly in tracking down any problems!
Do not forget to fill in your email so we can come back to you with possible solution!

When reporting a bug it would be very helpful if you can give us the game logs - error.log and imperiums.log (find the button on the launcher) and tell us:

• where you were in the game/what you were doing/what faction you are playing;
  
• the error message (if any);
  
• If it is repeatable - and how to repeat it;
  
• If you can send a save game that would be very helpful indeed;
  
• it might also be helpful to have a screenshot.

Recently the latest AMD drivers seem to have some issues causing the game to return to the launcher without starting the game.
