Hello!
Such issues can happen if the video files is encoded with the H.265 codec (it is also called HEVC).
This codec is not fully supported by Movavi programs. As there is no clear licensing model, it does not allow commercial companies to use H.265 codec safely.
However, if you use Windows 10, you can download from the link below and install the H.265/HEVC Video Extension, which allows you using H.265/HEVC codec in Movavi programs:
