Why does Movavi make my video files bigger ?

I just put in a video, did no special effects or anything. I actually only made the video shorter. But Movavi took my 1 GB video and turned it into a 3 GB. Whats up with that ?

Hello!

Please note that you can manually set the size of the output video.

Please select "Good" quality in the project export settings window. This will reduce the size of the final video file.

After that press the "Advanced" button, select the "Сustom" bitrate value and manually enter the desired bitrate value. The lower the bitrate value, the smaller the final video file size will be.
