gameplay completing

hello, i have thought about purchasing this game i have the first one. i really enjoyed it, until i got 98% done and i was unable to complete the final boss that needed to be killed 3 times. i found it so frustrating. i play on story mode only because i suck at battle scenes like the boss. does this version allow you to by pass fights if unable to complete so you can progress in the story?? hope someone can help, i don't want to buy it if i know i won't be able to complete the story.

The game does not allow you to pass the fight scenes, but there is an invisible mode in the settings, if you turn it on, you will not take damage and you will become immortal.

thank you :) that does make me feel better. :) :D was there is setting invisible in the first game?? if so maybe i can actually finish the story.

But the fights make you better gamer.
Since you re-spawn...
Can choose to go back a bit...
You can figure out a path to get thru to baddies.
Hone your skills.
Have supplies for another batch of baddies later.

you would think they would but i still suck at it...lol. i must have tried 50 times to kill the dude at the end. i read after i killed him they went to a party so i was almost done. i got so damn frustrated. i am terrible at trying to figure out loops like that. thanks for the encouragement though.. :) :D
