Load Times Are Atrocious

Been waiting five minutes on the second chapter title screen and nothing. Chapter One took three minutes. This is unacceptable.

They've been really short for me on an SSD. Just a handful of seconds or so.

have never had to wait near 5 minutes. NOt even a minute infact. Are you running it on an HDD

Yeah, one of those Western Digital EZStore things

You'll want to use a NVMe SSD. HDDs are no longer relevant for playing modern games.

That external USB HD is great for storing videos and pictures for things that speed of reading it not super important.

When using something like that, the transfer speeds will not be great. Especially next to a 5000M/Bs of a NVMe drive.

It will work, but you will be doing a lot of waiting when loading for any game with large assets :(

I use my 2 3TB HDDs for storing stuff like that an also for games I am not playing right now so I don't have to download them again...but never for actually playing a game.
