Did you do it by going into Nvidia control panel, Manage 3D settings, clicking the "program settings" tab, A Plague Tale: Requiem, and then changing "Max Frame Rate" to 60? That's the only way I've found to do that and it hasn't worked for me.
No it wasn't it. My bad, was just a coincidence.
It seems i found a solution for black screen (at least for me). Can replicate it (did replicate it 3 times so far so seems consistent). The problem is sound related. When my sound is coming through the speakers i get a black screen. When i change my sound output to headphones in wave link software and control panel the game launching without problems.
So try changing the output to something else and see if that helps.
“ Thank you for your feedback and the files.
Asobo studio discovered that the problem could be a compatibility issue with some audio devices.
Could you disable or unplug your Elgato and Voicemod sound devices (so keep your Realtek sound device enabled only) and test?”
Thanks for letting us know Kosmozuikis <3
Can I ask what is your original output of sound device and which sound device do you change to? Since my original output of sound device is Realtek(R) Audio and I changed to AI Noise-cancelling Output (ASUS Utility), the problem is still remain.
Edit:looks like you fixed it, although the source of the problem for you is confusing as I'm using realtek myself with no issues.
Worked for me, Game Pass version 1.2 on Windows 11, RTX 3060Ti, g-sync compatibel LG monitor. Maybe a bug with the initalisation of the g-sync that disappears once the value is set correctly?
Why you thankful if this is a game bug?
