Raytracing Options.

Raytracing Options will be released in the Day One Patch.
All current reviews are without RT.
As most reviewers mention the high requirements to run, I'm hoping the day one Patch improves gameplay.

Good to know, but I really, really hope the performance improves, been hearing that the game has a lot of performance issues in some ridiculously powerful pc's....

i dont think its gonna be a lot of improvement the game is heavy and it shows why im playing it early on pc gamepass because you can switch the region to new zealand and play but the game is heavy im actually playing at 4K 30 fps with dlss performance because i cant get stable 60 fps on other resolutions even using dlss performance but the game has some of the best graphics i have seen on this gen textures and draw distance are insane i cant imagine how this will look if you add RT but that will requiere a 4090 and dlss frame generation for sure

Not aware of any patch according to people playing it but I don't see RT happening without a 3090+.

Even 4090's are struggling with some areas. Day one patch must offer some improvement.

What day one patch? I keep hearing this, I see no official thread.... Seems to me RTX in this game will set GPU's aflame...

Yeah, I've waited too, to check out RT, but it looks fine without to be honest!
GPass just now: This game needs patching....and is downloading the whole 47GB again!
Why? That's not a patch, it's a fresh install? Oh well. Hoping for some RT sweetness!

Nah, the patch on game pass just replaces the build from september with a recent one. It doesn't do anything for ray tracing.

Odd though that there's no reply from Asobo. Lots of people wondering where RT is.
Nothing on Twitter or Gaming media I can find, and STILL the ONLY RT references I can find is from Skill up and ACG.
Oh, and the huge Nvidia Posters and videos of course.

The config file has a ray racing option that is set to 0.
