The performance is terrible

I didn't have any problems with Innocence. In Requiem I am getting below 30-40 FPS with everything on the lowest settings. I don't see that much of a difference between the 2 games in terms of visual quality to warrant such a huge drop in performance.

Refunded. Runs poorly and doesn't look the part for being so demanding.

High settings with DLSS on Quality gives in first chapter 45-60fps, sometimes in lights scenes beyond 75

It doesn't look that demanding @ low settings. On high settings though.. just WOW. One of the best looking game ever.

You can't expect us to help you if you can't tell us your setup. You probably haven't tweaked the nvidia container or optimised your in game settings properly.

It's one of the best looking games on the market. Innosence was low budget game which looked good but was a bit outdated when it comes tog raphics even when it came out. Obvious bait.

My laptop has a 8GB 3080 with a Ryzen 9 6900 CPU. This should be enough for this game, but I get very poor frame rates. I've taken DLSS down to Performance, reduced the screen resolution (native is 1440p), and it's still unplayable.

On my desktop with an 8-core Xeon workstation processor, 64GB RAM, and a 20GB Radeon 7900XT, it runs buttery smooth on my 5K widescreen. I don't understand why this game runs so poorly on Nvidia GPUs.

Except that it doesn't run poorly on Nvidia GPUs. I had a smooth experience with 3070 Ti @ high settings @ 1440p. Without RT solid 120-130 fps, With RT 60-90 fps.

Hmmm. The delta between my gaming laptop to my gaming desktop is about 2x realistically. That is, my desktop is about 2x faster at running things than my laptop. Yet this game's performance is WELL under that 2x difference and is over 4x slower. Unplayable on my laptop (with 32GB DDR5 RAM). Any ideas?

Could it be overheating issue? Your CPU or GPU (or both) reaches max temperature and clocks down? This would explain bad performance.

This game really is kinda of a heavy hitter to CPU/GPU

Look people, keep your silly advice about pc specs and overheating and cpu bottleneck in check......

this game has just got technical issues, tremendous frame drops for no reason.
