The game is really beautiful!!
it is truly a masterpiece! both in story and graphics!
I hope we see even more quality games in the future like this one that don't just think about what they will get, they know and give quality!

for me this is art in 2023

I personally believe that there will be a continuation of the game, at least with what we saw in the last chapter, it seems that something happens after

Whatever they do I trust them because I will say it again and again and again this masterpiece is 2023 art

and what is it that we want in our games today? QUALITY, HISTORY, MUSIC

actually someone valued our money

The first two games are awesome. I really hope they won't ruin the franchise with a sequel that sucks, just because they feel compelled to make a sequel but in reality not having anything to add to the story. Amicia and Hugo's story is finished with Requiem, a modern/futuristic sequel just wouldn't be the same. A prequel maybe.

I'm sure they won't let us down at all, if this is finished, I'm sure that the next one won't disappoint us either

I think we might have a trilogy, what do you think about that, would anyone like a sequel?

You can count me in, I would take a new entry for one of the greatest game franchises any day, prequel, sequel spin off, anything

I would really like them to announce something about their next game

do we have any news for the next one? something?

Only list of jobs under "Plague Team" @ Asobo's website.

As I mentioned earlier, no official news have been made public about the plans or anything. The last (lets call it official, even though, nothing is stated for sure, but it comes from the game director himself, in his interview on Eurogamer several months back). Here is the piece of that discussion, even though I posted this several times here to answer simillar questions.

...It all begs the question, naturally, of whether there will now be A Plague Tale 3? "I don't know," Choteau says. "I don't know. We've talked [in the game] about what happens next, of course - this is why you have this tiny scene at the end, just to say that it's a never ending cycle."

He pauses, thinking of what to say. "I don't know if the team is ready. I don't know if we have a good thing to say right now. I think we are quite a bit tired of the rats and this kind of story, this kind of mood, so I don't know what will come next, actually. And I'm not doing some lies there, I'm just being honest. The team is still in the enjoyment of the release and they are doing some research on technical things to improve our engine, to improve our tech, working on performance even more to see if we can push it even further, and we are discussing, just discussing."

If there ever is a third game, it would understandably have to be - without Hugo - quite different. Amicia still has a mission she can pursue, but, as Choteau says, "it will change the game and the DNA of the thing because it will be Amicia alone against I don't know what, protecting I don't know what".

"For us, it's hard to figure out right now," he adds. "It's not in the pipe."

But to bring this back to where it all began, what's most important about this whole Plague Tale endeavour is now, Asobo has proven what it can do. With a team of 40, and then a team of 70 (the Flight Simulator team is a bigger, separate thing), Asobo's "artisanal" team, as Choteau calls it, has established that it can create spectacular, original stories that millions of people around the world want to play. Adventures that are on a level with some of the very best out there - the Uncharteds of the world. And that, going all the way back to HoloLens and Fragments, was what it set out to do.

So whether or not it's A Plague Tale 3 that comes next, rest assured something will. "I'm doing everything to make it not stop, every day," Choteau says. "[...] We've done two games that have been liked by people so we want to continue that, we want to be better, to show more stuff, to challenge ourselves also, pushing the limits even further, pushing the tech even further [...] We have many ways to improve, we have many things to showcase again and we want to continue on to that."

Long may it continue.

so here is that piece where they talk about "possible" sequel, the last paragraph is the one you need to focus on, and if that is the case, I belive, the development of the 3rd entry already started, in secret ofcourse.

The other thing to notice is reports about Asobo Studio hiring people, game designers, etc. to join "Plague Team", with speciffic requirement that the candidate is familiar, and has played both games., This can also indicate that something is brewing there.

I understood everything, so the way the last chapter ended, it seems that there will be something

I can't wait for a sequel!
kristijan.123 Sep 23, 2023 @ 10:31am
just keep in mind that this interwiew is about 8 months old or so, it's not actual news, and they may choose a different approach than what is said here.

both are indeed beautiful quality games, I just think this one is even more unreal, don't you agree?
TsampaD Sep 23, 2023 @ 10:41am
I see more evidence in this it seems real

in general, we rarely see such quality in a game; when was the last time we enjoyed something so beautiful?

Sometimes I pause the game and look at these awesome graphics
they did an amazing job on this game hats off to him
