I plugged in my X360 controller for this section. I prefer playing Requiem with keyboard and mouse because when playing Innocence with a controller, the auto aiming can get too sticky. I know there's an option to reduce the auto aim in Requiem, but since I started with keyboard+mouse and was entirely comfortable with it, I didn't feel the need to change until I encountered this bug.
Thanks a lot! I'll give it a try later!
Still, over 2 years since release how have they not noticed this problem and patched it?!
