Step on all toys achievement?

Has anyone figured out if the case might be you have to step on all toys in one run withouth ever dying? Does perhaps dying reset the count? Seems pretty harsh since you get locked out from both certain toys and certain areas as you progress.

all you have to do is step on every toy that's there when you dont have the tape recorder (thank you for pointing out the errors by the way)

You mean you need to step on all before picking up the tape recorder? And the ones that appear after picking up the recorder don't matter? I'm sure guides mentioning ALL toys in the game, including the Master Chief one and the Clown, which are time specific ones.

just the permanent toys all other toys dont matter

I am not sure though, I stepped on all of them, including the clown and master chief and I didn't get the achievement....

I'm 99% certain I've done that too, but I did get caught in between at least one time and so I wonder if that would reset the counter towards the achievement... Can't seem to get a clear answer, but many have gotten it. Might try again at some point but it gets a bit frustrating if it's not popping when you're doing it right.

I have 100% stepped on every single toy and it still doesn't fire for me. I don't know what to do! I just want another perfect game on my profile...

I can confirm you need to step on all toys without dying/getting caught, and that the clown and Doom Guy toys don't count. Not sure if the tape recorder plays a part, but you CAN get it before getting the tape recorder. It was slightly infuriating tbh. xD
