Currently, Hopeless, Stuck.

Hi, overall liking it, but unsure of how to proceed from where I am.

I'm on day 1. I've went to Stanley's house, found out about a missing doll Myrtle, caused a debate between Cyril and Henry, have a crate inside the postmaster's and talked to everyone I can think of.

I think getting the doll Myrtle, or getting the crate, or finding stanley again, is the next step, but I do not know how to proceed. So I am asking here for help. Please no cryptic clues. If you need to do a spoiler to hide the answer, just do that please.

Hint: Have you talked to Wally after he took the doll? He can be found if you leave the main square via the far right exit! Hope this helps! :)

I talked to Wally before talking to the sister, and when I try talking to Wally after finding out about the doll, it says "I don't have anything to talk to Wally right now." or something to that effect.

Have you exhausted all the conversation topics with Jane?

Just have Lord Panwyck and Hobs Barrow to ask her, but figured she'd only answer after I got her the doll.

Try asking her about Hob's Barrow, this is the little trigger that's needed :)

On to day 2 now. One thing I'd like to point out, is that its quite irritating that RMB will skip text forward. I keep accidentally miss-clicking it and then I miss what the person said and there is no journal of previous conversations. Hope I'm not missing important details.

Day 2. Have the broken fiddle bow. Got the resin and got the knife. Found the horse. Figure I need a cabbage to make it friendly, but the lady with the cabbages hasn't set up her stall. Talked to everyone I can think of. Met the witch. Met the painter. Talked to the musician. Talked to Leonard.

Not sure what to do now.

That helped for a bit. Now stuck again:

Got the rooftop plant. Need the elderflower. So that I can get the tincture. So that I can get milk to give to the lady to meet the manor. But it sounds like the elderflower is where the manor is. Still can't get the horse hair, tried the rotten apple. No more apples available. Watched Jane juggle. Not sure where to proceed.

FYI: I don't usually play point and click adventures, but this one sold me on its concept during one of the Steam Next Fests. I think the last one I completed was one of the Eco Quests in the early 90s. I do like puzzles and solving them on my own, but I'm at a loss to where to go.

Have you picked up Kenneth the Worm yet? I bet he'd be useful.
