Dissapointing & yet the best golf game there is.
Camera views are horrible but legit.
Country club chat often fails.
No DM system.
No 5 hole skin option.
No option to bet or set a coin limit for skins.

Would I recommend this game to others, after over 200 hours ... "obviously" ... ive spent over 200 hours on it!
But a Major Update is seriously required .. and i wouldnt count on getting it

Camera views can be iffy, especially on Kiawa.
Don't know about cc chat failing.
There is a direct DM system. You must access wgt.com for this, where you'll find your full profile and access to forums ,support etc.
Why should there be a 5 hole skins option?
It's not a gambling site: Their game their rules.

Major updates are more often than not, a new course.
I have 12 years worth of hours . 1500 odd since it changed from Flash player to Unity and it came to Steam. It is never the same game ever. Unless you make a game in your country club, whereby you can lock the settings.
Me and my friends still play this because it is frustrating,annoying and seemingly against you from the word go.

I've been playing it since it started on "Flash Player" . It's the most annoying game in the universe.
Why???????
Because it is different every time you play. Unless you make a set game in a country club. It tries to get you just when you think you've got your head round it.

Personally i wouldn't say this game is trash, but it's impossible to win for a beghiner player.
It's quasi impossible to target the perfect point to hit the ball, in versus well it's impossible to win because the opponent is WAYYYYYYY too strong compared to us.

For exemple: in my last versus game i was given a pro tour level 89 player and i'm level 23 amateur. Where is the fairness ? When i needed 3 balls to reach the green (hitting the fairway each time), he could reach it in two. The only good point is that he was so bored by the challenge that he abandonned the match.

The badest point is: the green.
If even an imprecise shot can make us get closer to the flag when playing on the fairway/rough/bunker/etc, once we are in the green, the smallest imprecise putt can move the ball from 5 feet to 30, 40 feet or even more.

So in my opinion, this game is way too hard for beghiners

The game gets harder as a player levels up. Tee boxes are further back and green speeds increase. The only way to get distance is to buy better clubs and the only way to get better control around the greens is to use better golf balls. It's a "free game" but WGT have to make their money somehow and for me it's still the most realistic and challenging golf game out there,

but I am very much interested in setting up a club to play only nine Holes. I belong now to Tree beard. Club And the five numbers that are there. have such high numbers then we do
I don't think they'd be interested in beginner. I'd like to start a club. We. have the edge beginners. Could learn how to set up a foam course. And we could play them.We do not like high player to take our money. Any Likes on this. picture. OK, right.

This game is retro for me, perhaps it's just how long it's actually been around given previous comments on Flash player. But, it's really does late 90's golf sims well. It's different than console golf.

The game is hard, but it's really just a lot of math. If you can do all the math you score well. Idk if others think that? It's almost more of a puzzle than a sport game to me.

I literally just downloaded it less than a month ago and have played a lot. There's a LOT of feedback I'd supply, given the opportunity though.

It's definitely not trash. The prices on their paywall are way steep if the allure of buff is too tempting

The match making is trash. Multiple redo tourneys are trash. Outrageous prices on shop items... TRASH. Wind blowing to the hard left, while all signs and UI in the game say its hard right... TRASH.

Calculator?

Search for WGT Putting and wind calculator. There is a spreadsheet to download..it's not entirely accurate but good enough to give an approximation which you can then make allowances for with your own equipment. For example, with my set-up I find the calculator comes up a little short and in high wind I allow for less offset than calculated.

The game shows spikes of 150FPS in Rivatuner statistics. Settings only allow full screen 1080P. Is there any way to unlock the FPS to run 1080p120 on STEAM or the WGTGolf app?
I'm on the app, was wondering about the graphics settings when running in Steam. I'm on desktop as well.
