So having won a number of them both silver and gold, with apparently winning lots of apparel items...but never see where they are or how i get them. Also what does numbers mean as an example 12/30 or 102/31?

When the number is 31/31 you can buy that apparel item with your coins

12/20 for an apparel item (for example) means you need 20 points to upgrade that item but you only have 12. 102/20 for an item means you need 20 points to upgrade and you already have 102. If you go to that item in your inventory, you will see the words UPGRADE AVAILABLE on that item. You will need to spend silver coins to upgrade it to the next level. The upgrade cost will be shown on a button on the item in the upper left of your screen. If you click that button to upgrade, the coins will be deducted from your bank and the item will move up to the next Level (giving you a better bonus whenever you wear it). Any extra points you have leftover for that item after you purchase the upgrade will be kept. For example, if you had 102/20 and upgraded the item, it would now say something like 82/50.
