The clubs one can get without paying are useless for competitions - no spin, no draw, not enough distance, you name it.
You want new balls? Sure, that'll be 10 credits (for the lamest of them all). Oh what's that, you want them not in white but some other color? It's gonna cost you 4 times the usual amount. Blatant cash grabbing.
And like OP pointed out, the credits stop coming in so one is stuck with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ equipment, which is, of course, intended.
If (HUGE if) the game was actually great and without so many issues (connection, lack of tutorials, no ambient sounds, etc.), one might think about buying stuff. But as it is, (non-paying-)players are given the least possible amount of value, while they are expected to throw their money at the developers.
So, just like real world golf, this game is meant for people willing and able to empty their pockets.
i agree with everything here ... except i dont seem to get connectivity issues
Tell you a little secret: You don't actually have to WATCH them! ;-)
They just need to display on one of your devices. Put your device beside you while working or watching television and click the ads.
The ads used to be unlimited, nows it's a maximum of 150 credits/day you can get that way.
I'm a lvl 107 Legend with top notch equipment and I have never spent any real money on this game.
Did EA call Topgolf yet for some intel on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with gamers?
It used to be you bought a game and got serious value for it, those were the days. Pirating FTW.
