True ending.

After playing the game, it's more then safe to assume that there IS a true ending hiding somewhere.

at the first trailer of hiveswap 2, we see a scene at a forest, with Charun, a troll that never really appears at hiveswap 2 and a scene with a flying monster in front of joey and xefros...

We also don't see credits at the end of the game, instead, we see the train at the bottom of the lake at the background, and what it means is that we got the "Wrong" end. We got to the game over, just like in pesterquest when some timeline thingy happens and your immediately teleported to the main menu.

As you may know, the key to get the true ending is probably to not give the pogs to elwurd and maybe do something else at the trial, but as the trial is GINOURMOUS in time length, if someone ever saw something bizarre at the trial, or reached the true ending, please share it here.

The Scene in the florest I think it is what happens when you Go into the forest without any bee vomit on you dunno, might try today. Also am i the only one who didn't see Fozzer in the train?

And well I managed to bribe a ticket from Chixie and Zebruh so did not have to give Elwurd my pogs. In the trial part I gave my pogs to Tagora (don't remember what he got me in exchange , honestly the trial part IMO was a waste of time (could've been used better to make Jo interact moere with the other trolls). In the end I accused Wanshi she confessed she was the one who architected everything but we did not find out the real culprit that stole the book after that I went to the Cobalt/Indigo/Purple wagon and got the same ending screen with the explosion and the train ending in the lake.

I will certainly struggle a lot in the re runs of the game, specifically in the Trial part (I cannot concentrate enough ugh :(( )

Im pretty sure the flying monster in front of joey of xefros is the scene where they die if you decide to not "cover yourself with forest stuff" after the bee-looking hive

Also apparently it is the same flying monster that attacks the train making it explode and collide into the lake, In my first final run I didn't see it cause I clicked and It ended the scene

Given that this game lets you import a save from the first game, I imagine the 3rd one whenever it's ready, will let you import a save from this one.

I am in the process of finishing a 2nd time, this time still having all the act 1 items intact (that I am aware of). I would hate for act 4 to have an ending that requires the pogs, batteries, seasoning, etc, and have to go all the way back to act 2, particularly after having long since forgotten how to do the trial.

I just got to the clown car with all my items intact (other than the microphone obviously)
