Evolution stone?
Cant seem to get this one to work? What does it even mean? Every time i try, i get the message that given character does not have any valid traits. Tried on a dozen of characters.

Anyone knows how to use this one? and on what?Who?Where?

Only on someone with builtin or absorbed scaling trait that hasn't reached max level yet.
For example, a human priest starts with feast, he could use evolution stone to level up it.

Most of the scaling mutations are related with healing of x% of health under a certain condition.

Not one character in my entire party can use an evolution stone. They are all about 20th level now, I've tried using the stone as they leveled up and absorbed traits. Nope, never useful. I think I once used a stone with a barbarian (guy with ax).

I have 8 evolution stones sitting in my inventory doing nothing. I wish they were more useful if they are going to hand them out like that. I would have about 11-12 of them but I broke them down for resources.

It use to upgrade trait that can scale up increase it effect.
Example of who can use evolution stone from the start of new game play at lv1 when you haven't absorbed any trait (that still not max level when it still just mutators) yet.

Priest -> Feast
Monk -> ... can't remember name but i remember that he has one
Scavager Assasin -> Hastening Crit
etc

There should be more uses for it. It is way too specific and limited. It's a fun idea.

I think it works fine. The only annoying part is that you can't use them on Urtuk, since he can't go on missions.

You can use it on mutaters you absorbed so you don't have to wait until they are level 10. Like feast, flesh eater, Quick Reflexes and Sharp Eyes, just to list a few.

use it on scaling mutations.

feast .protection, lifesteal strike, vigorous ect.

you can also use it on absorbed mutators that reduce your hp to lower the %hp reduced.

You can recycle them to increase your life essence (55 life essence instead the usual 44), buy your fav' mutators & increase them more fastly.
Personnally I don't use evolution stones neither bc it seems better to me to reach the max level before to absorb the mutator...
I never could use it as expected: too much random if 2 traits is not to the max.

So why is Feast a scaling mutator and Shield Wielder not? Both have a percentage in their description? At first i thought that it would be easy to see what is a scaling mutator, now i'm not so sure anymore :( (Light Weapon is another example).

Suggestion: Flagg the traits/mutator who are scaling ones with another colour on their Name, Adjust the Battle Hint section about that (btw: include at that point the merge option for mutators, too --> the message which is triggered only, if you have 2x the same mutator in your inventory isn't imo enough)

Edit: Okay i get it that Shield Wielder and Light Weapon are no mutaors, but how am i able to see that ingame. Flagrant is a mutator the others not :(

Furthermore i see that a scaling mutator is telling in the tooltip, what the next level changes besides the HP boost, thats fine. But i can't see that, if the mutator is already a trait. Again would be nice to see the difference ingame and to get an explanaition what all the names mean exactly (Static --> Scaling --> Passive --> Perk --> Trait)

Yes, but as i have already mentioned this isn't the case, if you have such a mutator as Trait already.

In the wiki is written that the -%HP buff/debuff isn't tranfered after absorbing a mutator. So it is totally obsolet, if you absorb a static mutator with level 1 or 10 --> Is this outdated?

What about the counting of battles if you use a mutator. If you have half of the battles you get the Perk in Progress and are able to switch mutators without loosing the Progress --> fine.
Is this true for the way till you got the Perk In Progress Trait? I'm asking, because one of my main DD has 4 days till he is on full health --> Swapping his mutators to others is a good or bad idea (if they are ones i want to absorb later on)?
