whats going on with Carnival Hunt ? game was supposed to be released in December but nothing and the discord is shut down and the sub Reddit is private. i remember seeing something in early December that it was being delayed cuz someone was sick but now with everything im seeing it looks like its another The Day Before situation. seems like the devs are taking the money from the kickstarter and running.

I cant find any updates anywhere, none of the discord links work, nothing on twitter, nothing on youtube, no updates on kickstarter, nothing on steam.

the issue with carnival hunt is they arent posting ♥♥♥♥ about it. the game was supposed to be released in December, but was delayed for a dev being sick. now its pushed back for another reason. they are not good with communication. especially for a game thats funded by the fans.

They did take the money from Kickstarter supporters.
In 2023 for 32 days they had active Kickstarter where they garnered $122,426 out of 1.5k people/

So to answer your question, yes, they did take the money.

Keep in mind this game was suppose to release in 2020 as a totally different game.
Dont get me wrong, i want this game to be real because the concept is interesting, but lack of updates, announcing december 2023 release and then not releasing the game and not saying anything about it is just sad.

After The Day Before, i aint gonna buy any game until i see raw gameplay from someone legit.

it's currently a work in progress and it is getting updates for those who got the early alpha.
right now they got hacker problems so it will probably be delayed more.
