Play with NEKO is a puzzle game you play with ten nekos! There are three rounds of puzzle types for each girl, which starts with a classic flip-style matching of tiles for underwear styles, revealing her in the background as you go about removing matched tiles. Second phase is a scrambled image, where the tiles you matched move around, and you have to just shuffle them around to create the correct image. After this phase, she has less clothing on, and her face slightly changes into a suggestively more “devilish” sort of countenance as you progress to the remaining puzzles.

Third phase is rather interesting, since it has an evolved version of paper-rock-scissors. There are five total images you choose, and randomly can win or lose each round. There is a helpful black question mark in the corner if you are curious how this all works, but there is no way to really lose any of these phases, including this game. You just have to win enough, and then you get a final picture after completing this phase, with your naked neko!

Now, the first thing I noticed when I started the game was, “Wow! This music is extremely loud!”. Another thing was the mouse cursor was very hard to track because of the busy background, so at least for a standard style pointer, it’s kind of easy to get confused or lost as to where it is at times. I think this game would do well to have a custom pointer that didn’t camouflage with the background quite as much. There is also a corner menu on the top left, but it doesn’t explain what these two options do, so watch out clicking those! I was halfway through a puzzle, and was poking around thinking… “Hmm… I wonder what this does?”. Well… I found out. It kicked me back to the main menu. After “solving" each neko, you also get booted back to the main menu, so I’d like to see a bit of continuity instead of having to start game over again, perhaps. Those are the only really glaring issues I encountered overall, personally.

I enjoyed the variety of puzzles, even though it was rather simple. I’ve been hoping to see more evolution from the basic slider puzzles to more interesting puzzles to get to your images. I’m happy this had some variety to it, and several phases for each. The nekos are all cute, and the art is rendered well. There are a total of ten, as I mentioned. The game itself is fun and enjoyable for those that like simple nudie picture games!



Nice cute neko drawings. The pictures are nice and inviting, and it works with the overall setting and puzzle style for this genre. They are not overly extreme, but a bit shapely, which is nice. The lighting doesn’t make them look like they’re made of latex either, so I am glad they toned that down a fraction, as opposed to some other games I have seen too much of recently in the genre. I also liked their various poses as I went along.

Easy puzzles, with memory, arranging tiles, and finally an interesting little advanced version of paper-rock-scissors.

The light mood was fun, and everything felt like it was together in the game. Less disconnect than I can get with some, in spite of it being a bit simplistic in ways.

Everything seems to run okay. No issues of a technical sense.



Very loud music at the start! I wasn’t expecting it to be as loud as it was with other things I had going on at that volume, comparatively speaking.

On the memory game, it was rather busy, and it was easy to lose track of where the mouse was, if you have a standard pointer.

I think it’d be more immersive if you didn’t get kicked out of each level after finishing.

For the price, I’d rather it have a few more pictures. It is well done, but I have seen others adding a bit more overall CG content and such for around the $0.99 range.

I got close to an hour’s worth of playtime, so again, it’s rather short, which is to be expected at its price range for this type of game.



It’s a good game! I had fun playing it. Nothing too fancy, but I was impressed that it had some variety to the puzzles, and they had a neat paper-rock-scissors game involving more outcomes with a total of five symbols, instead of the traditional three.

It's... okay. Passable for the purposes of research. Nice amount of puzzles, since you get the same three, and you have fun with ten total nekos, but still not much content, and could be cheaper. It's decent, but feels like there could be a lot more to it, so I'm borderline. Still rather low price, so it's up to you if you want to try it for an hour - that's about the total length, and you can always refund it through Steam if you play it within a couple of weeks, stay under that time cap, and don't like your purchase.

The pictures are pretty well done, so all in all, I like what I played, and would say it’s a nice addition to any avid researcher’s collection, especially those into kitties! I wanted to touch their floofy ears! Maybe some other spots too. Anyway, the price is steep, and there are a few small issues I mentioned that I was not quite satisfied with. It’s still a nice little game overall. I’d get this at half off, honestly.

This is an interesting H-puzzle game. Most that I've seen stick to one type of puzzle. NEKO puzzles are actually comprised of three "minigames". In the first one, you play a card matching game. It's nothing special, and has annoying animations. You have to find pairs of colored panties, revealing the image more-and-more which each match. Then, you play a puzzle game. You just have to unshuffle the same image. Finally, you play a strange rock-paper-scissors-eske game.

What kind of rock-paper-scissors game has five options? It's confusing, and I can't be bothered to learn this bizarre system. You can't lose anyways, so why complicate it so much?

With each completed game, the girl in question loses another article of clothing. Each game is very, very easy, and can be passed by mashing buttons. No strategy needed. You could say relaxing, I say lazy. When I want to "relax", I need a stimulated brain. You can play this game brain-dead.

The art is actually pretty good. It's a shame it's stuck in this game. I suggest (to the Dev's) that a DLC offering them as wallpapers should be released. There is a gallery, but it sucks. It doesn't feature the girls in each stage of undress, just the last one. You can't full-screen the images, and the gallery interface is very distracting.

The game-play was boring, and the gallery sucked. I guess a gallery beats no gallery, but a bad gallery isn't much better than no-gallery. The game is cheap, so grab it on-sale if you like the art. If you're looking for an engaging puzzle game, or a place to view said art, well look elsewhere. There's a lot of (cheaper) titles which will offer you better bang for your buck.

Artwork isn't very good. Main problem is the game plays. There's a sliding tile puzzle that's easy enough, am struggling with the tile matching and rock paper scissors game. The tile matching features tiles that are not memorable as well as a flashing background...and rock paper scissors has been made even more tedious by adding two other options.

Accepted the games cheap, and does have achievements, but its just hard too play.

I'll try to finish the game then uninstall it.
