Massacre Achievement
Okay, so after enough playthroughs to get the three endings after finding the main path, I've pretty much finished the game 100%. But what's the deal with the Massacre achievement? "You're that sick of them, huh?" implies to me that it's either a 'kill Zack + the beasts' or just 'kill the beasts several times over' but one way or another that doesn't really make all that much sense, since I've probably tried both of those on several occasions. Maybe it requires a specific set of information within the loops, since I did the wrong path the first run and the subsequent two I just did the minimum to get Zack to join me on a beast-hunt, which locked me out of some dialogue with, say, the Lady.

(Side-note: Zack is labeled as ??? if you never learn his name once you're out of the loops. I'm pretty sure she doesn't know Zack prior to this series of events, so she seems to be able to not only blow people up with her mind, but also pull relevant information out of thin air.
I'm not expecting the dev to go in and retroactively fix this, but I am curious as to whether they were aware such a thing could occur.)

Anyway, so yeah, I'm not really sure where to look for this achievement. All the others I came across pretty naturally, save the endgame ones for obvious reasons, but this one I don't think I would find normally.

Spoiliers ahead! To unlock the Massacre achievement, you have to kill both the Beasts and Zack in a single run :)

Regarding the name... Huh. you're right. Didn't anticipate that turn of events, somehow :)

You know... I kinda guessed that. I just kinda suck at getting all of them killed haha. Specifically the beasts without Zack there as well. Hm...

Yeah, I'm not surprised at the oversight. I can't imagine play-testing included a lot of running from start to end ASAP.
I think you should also be aware that you can get a second round of herbs if you return to the cave after healing Zack. As you might expect, it doesn't do much, dialogue doesn't seem to be any different, and you can't offer it to Zack. I had the hope that a second set of herbs would make him fight better, but... yeah, I'm just pretty sure that you used a boolean to determine if you have herbs and if not then you can get herbs and never expected people to return to the cave after getting that variable set back to false. Haha. (now that I consider it, the code in this game would be really neat to look at...)

Yeah, the herbs are fine since there's presumably plenty of those in that wardrobe :)
Sort of. It's actually a string, but yeah, the idea is similar. Bool would make more sense, but I've built the engine that does all the actions to just take string variables, for simplicity's sake.
