What's the meaning of the "crucifix" door in John's house?
In John's house there's a door covered in crucifixs and if you try to enter it he says "I'm not going in there". Now, I know what you find there in chapter's three bad ending, but I can't really explain it or make sense of it in a canonical way. Can someone explain it to me?

As far as my interpretation goes:

The "canon" ending to Faith 1 appears to be that John did not go after Amy in the woods and instead shot Michael with the gun. This is clearly portrayed as the "best" ending.

Then, in unclear circumstances, Amy showed up at his house between Faith 1 and 2 and he sealed her inside. Maybe he managed this because his exorcism in the final fight of Faith 1 weakend the UNSPEAKABLE.
This would also explain why Gary, as far as I understand his notes and dialogue, has not been able to get in touch with Amy or the UNSPEAKABLE. He doesn't know where she is.

In the finale, after Gary has failed utterly, the UNSPEAKABLE shows up to punish him and appears to "give up" Amy, freeing but also killing her, as her original possession involved the supernatural injections from Gary and, you know, having her skull carved open.

The reason I doubt this is because John is fully aware of Amy's (or rather, the demon's) warping ability. We also see throughout the game's events that Amy not only has formidab-ble strength, she's sometimes impervious to the cross' power. So what good is locking her behind a door.

Also, her being in that room is only in the bad ending. In the good ending, she's deep within the realms of DisneyGaryland. I read somewhere that the cult eventually tracked down Amy and brought her back, but she was too weakened after the battle with John (ch1) for them to use her some more.

Probably safe to deduce that it's a bathroom with a clogged toilet and broken flush.
